FINISH NYSC AND BRING YOUR CV NA JOKE O

April 13, 2016
SO being a mom has really held me back and being pregnant again hasn't helped at all, Don't get me wrong o, am very grateful for my kids, so many women who are better than me don't have kids but me i have and i thank God so much but just staying at home has its own challenges especially when your hubby is the bread winner, yes once once i do little businesses to distract me but just staying at home for almost 3 years since
you finished school is not easy. Anyways i can remember during my NYSC DAYS. I got lots of promises from different people who assured me that the moment i finish school i will just get one kind big job.

I looked forward to it and waited and waited patiently and somehow they don't even act like they promised me something. You know what now happened, i got pregnant again, this time i use the pregnancy to console my self. Did you apply for the police job that was trending everywhere. So my inlaw told me about the police job awhile back and i didn't bother applying cause the way i hate that word, their uniform, their ideas, what they stand for. Truth be told, that's my own personal opinion but when he told me about it, the first thing that came to my mind was *how can i work in police*  like i had a choice

When i and hubby finally discussed it and him convincing me that i could resign and change if i get something better, i agreed to apply. *the way we discussed this issue, you would thin, the job was just waiting for me to come and carry it* I have applied for jobs online and some have called me back for interview mostly in Lagos but i have never thought Government work was easy to get and I'm not a fan either. First you have to pay someone 500k to get it or know someone that knows someone. I decided to go to their website and apply, first of all the website looked horrible

I had to go through to see where i could apply and didn't see anything and the next thing i read on linda ikeji was that the website had crashed due to too much applications and the next again was how they had finished applying and over 500k people applied for 10k vacancies. Na wa o, Now i know the reason why someone wrote this cause my sister, NA WASH.

HOW is your job hunting experience going?
Being a mom has it slowed you down or pushed you forward?
