So this post is basically on how to help us stay at home moms or working moms that want to make extra cash from blogging. As you know i have been blogging for two years now but i'll confidently say i have been using those other ones as pet projects and over time i have improved on myself and my ideas about blogging. Yes, you read right, i sell using my blog as a shop and surprisingly. I have made something from it. But before you sell any product please follow this tips that have helped me a lot. They are very simple, useful and self explanatory but if you still don't get it please send me an email through my CONTACT FORM or in the comment section and I'll be glad to help
First of all, you have to sell something you;
- Produce yourself
- Have used before and trust or are still using
- That really works and will be useful to your readers
- What is your blog all about. First of all you don't want to sell a phone on your food blog. You can sell things like spices, food delivery, cakes, smoothies. etc.
- Why do you want to sell something on your blog: of course to make cash so you always want to keep that in mind before anything else but you have to put your customers in mind. They are the reason you are selling in the first place.
- Write down your business goals.
- Start small, re brand your products as time goes on \ and as you go work on your packaging. which is the stage I'm in now. Working to get my product logo and get a perfect name. So name ideas are welcome
- Figure out who your ideal reader/customer is: You don't want to sell hair pins to tech readers. They will laugh at you
- Promote your amazing products + services on your social media handles, word of mouth and as giveaways. So am planning a give away on my Instagram and Facebook page for moms and moms to be. If it sounds cool please indicate and i will post it.
