I FINALLY WENT TO THE CINEMA PLUS GODS OF EGYPT MOVIE REVIEW

March 06, 2016
The last time I went to the cinema to actually see a movie, i think was for 'THOR" and it's been so long so you see why i was excited to go when i was asked by my inlaws to go with them.So i dropped jina at their house and came back to see a boil on her head.

Went to silverbird cinema, bought four tickets which cost about #1500 each and pop corn which cost 800 (twas nice) and fanta and coke which cost either #300 or #400 each and water which was 200 each.

Gods of Egypt is a 2016 fantasy film featuring ancient Egyptian deities. The United States-Australia production is directed by Alex Proyas and stars Brenton Thwaites, Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Yung, Courtney Eaton, Rufus Sewell, and Geoffrey Rush. Butler plays the god of darkness Set who takes over the Egyptian empire, and Thwaites plays the mortal hero Bek who partners with the god Horus, played by Coster-Waldau, to save the world and rescue his love.

The movie had a general interesting story line but the fiction was just too much for me. i so love ancient movies of Egypt and Rome but this one was too much, it was like i was watching iron man..... and it seemed to me as though they were trying to copy THOR's setting. but all in all it was still a great movie more  because of the cast but i wasn't wowed by it.

The next movie i am planning to watch is "RISEN" and i hope to do that soon and won't be dissapointed

WHAT MOVIES ARE YOU WATCHING NOW?
