5 THINGS I LEARNT FROM HAVING A CESAREAN OPERATION

May 29, 2016
HELLO MAMASITAS AND MOMISITAS AND SOON TO BES

How are you guys and how's your Sunday going, hope smooth...have you be following #Tsquared2016...OK for those who don't know it's OAP toolz wedding and it's taking place in DUBAI....thinking aloud: it's a destination wedding....why do i now have bad feelings about Dubai weddings....but the pics are gooooorgeous and the celebrities that attended nailed it with  their serious slaying. So today's post is really a big deal me for and i finally decided to be open with you guys after all you guys have been supportive of my
blog for a long long time even though most of you don't comment and i don't know why because you can comment anonymously if you are the shy type.  Yea, so i had to Cesarean operation for Ifenna and you know it's a major operation and it's a testimony that i am OK and baby is OK....in fact my two kids are testimonies cause they both came with their different challenges but i thank God almighty who is ever faithful and gracious for everything and everyone who supported me, prayed for me, loved me, assured me, came to visit and stayed with me in the hospital.

THESE ARE THE 5 THINGS I LEARNT FROM HAVING A CESAREAN OPERATION

1: DON'T EVER THINK CESAREAN IS AN EVIL THING TO DO OR IT'S OF THE DEVIL LIKE SOME PEOPLE WILL SAY, IF YOU ARE AT A POINT WHERE THE DOCTORS SAY OK, IT'S TIME..PLEASE GO AHEAD AND SAVE YOU AND YOUR BABY'S LIFE AFTER ALL IT'S GOD THAT GAVE THE DOCTORS AND MIDWIFES THAT SENSE TO HELP YOU OUT WHEN UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES COME.

Cause i can remember that after telling most people that i did Cesarean operation, the way they exclaim like why did you let the devil take charge instead of telling me sorry for the pain i was going through abi went through. My dear brethren, when you will let the devil take charge is when you start delaying and hoping magic will happen, Don't get me wrong miracles happen but an alternative to normal labor especially when it's an emergency is a very very big miracle. So use your teeth to count your tongue....

2: Never look down on a woman that did Cesarean because somehow she's even going through more pain than you that did normal labor.

3: After having a cesarean, you have to force your bladder to pee and the pain that you feel is out of this world, i didn't even know i was peeing until i stood up to do something and saw that a line was coming out of my pee pee area and it was connected to a bag and i can remember when they finally removed it and i felt like peeing...It was vey horrible, i was actually crying and trust naija nurses, instead them to calm you down or use psychology on you na so so in fact the nurse the doctor told to guide me how to pee was actually eyeing me asin serious one o.

A quick tip: after they remove that bag...It actually has a name but i have forgotten it....don't let your bladder get full, try to pee every time so you can get used to it...the moment you let your bladder get full, you have to force it so the pee can come out and when you try to force it, the pain is so much and it feels like your wound wants to open even though it won't open so the fear of opening the wound plus the pain will make urinating difficult. So basically just pee every time or as much as you can.Ok

4: It's more expensive than the normal labor, so you have to come prepared as in serious ego cause the buy buy is not here and trust naija hospitals nah...they will want to use your head.

5: Most women don't initially want to do it but because of  reasons beyond our control it just happens. Like me i didn't plan to do it, i was going through normal labor and the moment i was induced, things changed...my ife was having fetal distress and after watching it for a while and nothing was improving, we decided to do the needed.

That;s all i can remember for now, but if you are too quick to judge a woman that did Cesarean operation, i hope after reading this you will change for the better. i love you for reading and till my next post

NB: If you comment, you stand a chance of winning recharge cards this week, so don't forget to comment and also share, cause this post will definitely help someone.

  1. Fine Mummy. Great post, you're right. Women who go through caesarean should not be jundged or termed as lazy. Its not just you that's having a bad feeling about Dubai weddings o. I tell you, but I've really just learnt to keep the life of celebrities out of my way honestly.

  9. Lmao @ evil. I came across your blog via the link you left on FIN. I also live in Abuja and had my baby through cs at Nisa Premier. I was 8 months and my blood pressure was through the roof. I didn't want a c-section mainly because my skin is prone to keloids but even after all the casting and binding against it, I ended up in the theatre and with a keloid scar to show for it Lmao. What matters as I've come to realise is good health abeg. Anyway, nice blog and maybe we can meet someday soon. *hugs*
